LEO – what will I learn?

The Leading an Empowered Organisation (LEO) programme introduces the LEO Conceptual Framework, the Empowerment Triangle, and practical, evidence-based leadership tools that can be applied immediately. Designed for anyone working in healthcare — whether new to leadership, experienced, or not yet seeing themselves as a leader — LEO supports growth at every stage.

At the heart of LEO is a shared leadership language that brings clarity and consistency to practice, including Ownership; Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability; Developing Relationships; Building Capacity; Leading Change; and Commitment.

LEO is delivered as an intensive three-day programme, followed by a follow-up day three months later to embed learning. Participants develop an action plan and complete a small, workplace-based quality improvement project, with learning consolidated and celebrated at the follow-up day. Successful participants receive a LEO certificate and graduate pin
